Prince of Wales (POW) Senior Secondary School has indefinitely suspended several students after a disturbing video showing the assault of a younger pupil, identified as Emmanuel, went viral on social media.
The footage shows older students attacking the boy on the school compound. Principal George Abiodun Lefevie described the victim as “a very small boy” and said the attackers appeared to belong to a student clique known as The C’s.
According to Lefevie, the incident was first reported by the President of the POW Old Boys Association after the video began circulating online.
Two teachers had intervened at the scene and identified both the victim and one of the main assailants, named as Joseph Kallon, who later disclosed the names of four other participants.
“All the boys involved have been suspended indefinitely,” Lefevie said, stressing that the school’s decision sends a clear message that violence will not be tolerated.
The school’s disciplinary unit, known as the Scorpion Squad and led by senior teacher Mr. Dauda Marrah, has opened a full investigation. Formal suspension letters will be issued to the implicated students and their parents once the internal process concludes.
Lefevie confirmed that the case will be referred to the police after the school’s internal review. He warned against the emergence of gang-like student groups and reaffirmed POW’s commitment to discipline, moral conduct, and a zero-tolerance policy on violence.
The video has sparked widespread outrage online and prompted swift action from the school and its alumni. The ongoing investigation will determine further disciplinary measures, while authorities may pursue criminal charges where necessary.

Good one Sir
This has to do with the drugs dealing within the school compound of POW. I’m a victim, my son had never smoked or drink alcohol, since he started attended at Prince of Wales, he became a drug addict today he is a dropped out and he is busy with revalidation. Those big boys target quite and intelligent small boys demand money from them everyday to buy drugs in the school during launch hours while they involving those guys into the drugs and if they refuse to corporate with them, then they will assault them in and out of the school compound. Some of the teachers aware about it but they do just nothing in the name money. If those drugs dealers are not stop that school will become a history very soon.
