The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have arrested six individuals during coordinated operations in Moyamba and Bo districts as part of their intensified nationwide effort against narcotics.
In Moyamba, four suspects, including one female, were apprehended on Monday, 3rd November 2025, during targeted raids on known drug hotspots. Meanwhile, in Bo East, two more individuals a male and a female were caught in possession of the illegal substance commonly known as Kush.
Police sources confirmed that the arrests form part of a broader strategy to dismantle drug dens and curb the spread of narcotics threatening public safety and youth well-being.
The SLP reaffirmed their commitment to continuing intelligence-led operations, engaging communities, and working with partner agencies to fight drug abuse across the country.
