The second phase of the European Union (EU) Bus Tour 2025 officially commenced on Monday, December 1, 2025, with scheduled stops in Kenema, Bo, Bonthe, Port Loko, and the Gola Forest through December 5.
This leg of the nationwide tour focuses on raising awareness about Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), engaging grassroots communities, and deepening public understanding of ongoing EU-supported initiatives in Sierra Leone.
According to organisers, the outreach sessions aim to strengthen community participation, empower citizens with vital information on SGBV prevention and response, and highlight the EU’s continued partnership with government and civil society in promoting human rights and sustainable development.
Now in its 2025 edition, the EU Bus Tour continues to serve as a platform for dialogue, education, and visibility for programmes impacting the lives of Sierra Leoneans across the country.
