Luawa Football Club continued their impressive start to the league season by registering their second win with a hard-fought 1–0 away victory over Bhantal Football Club in a tightly contested encounter.

The match, played before a lively home crowd, saw both teams display tactical discipline from the outset. Bhantal FC sought to control possession and set the tempo, while Luawa FC remained compact and organized, patiently absorbing pressure and waiting for openings.

Clear scoring chances were limited in the first half as both defences held firm. Luawa’s goalkeeper was called into action on several occasions and responded confidently, while Bhantal’s backline also proved difficult to break down, sending both sides into the halftime break goalless.

The tempo increased after the restart, with Luawa FC gradually growing into the contest and creating more purposeful attacking moves. Their persistence paid off in the 75th minute when Abdul S. Kamara showed great composure to calmly finish and give the visitors the decisive lead.

Bhantal FC reacted by committing more players forward in search of an equaliser, applying sustained pressure in the closing stages. Despite several dangerous deliveries into the penalty area, Luawa FC’s defence remained disciplined and resilient, successfully repelling every attack to secure a clean sheet and maximum points on the road.

The victory further strengthens Luawa FC’s confidence as attention turns to the next round of fixtures, where they will travel to face Bo Rangers. Bhantal FC, meanwhile, will look to bounce back when they host Wusum Stars FC at the Approved School Field on Sunday.
