The National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) has provided relief assistance to students and the school community of Nyapui Secondary School of Excellence following a recent fire outbreak that affected part of the school hostel.
The agency donated essential relief items, including mattresses, food supplies, school bags, soap, and toothpaste, to support students who lost their personal belongings in the incident. According to NDMA, the intervention is intended to help affected students regain stability quickly and continue their academic activities with minimal disruption.

School authorities expressed appreciation to NDMA for the timely response, describing the support as critical in addressing the immediate needs of students impacted by the fire.
The fire incident caused significant damage to sections of the school hostel, leading to the loss of property. However, no casualties were reported. Recovery efforts are currently underway, with school management and relevant stakeholders working to restore normalcy within the institution.
