The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has constituted two emergency committees to handle disciplinary matters and appeals arising during the FA Cup competition, the association announced.

The Emergency Disciplinary Committee and Emergency Appeals Committee have been established in line with Article 32 of the FA Cup Rules and Regulations to ensure the swift and fair handling of all protests, disciplinary matters, and appeals, according to a statement signed by SLFA’s Lamin Tarawalie.

The Emergency Disciplinary Committee will be chaired by Mr. Alex Bhonapha, Esq., with Madam Khadijatu Maligie Kamara serving as Vice Chairperson. Other members include Mr. Cyrus Sheriff, Mr. Osman Kholie Conteh, and Mr. Adams Tommy.

The Emergency Appeals Committee will be chaired by Hon. Tamba Kellie, Esq., with Mr. Mohamed Sallieu Bangura and Mr. Zacharia Fornah serving as members.

According to the SLFA, the Emergency Disciplinary Committee is responsible for adjudicating all protests and disciplinary cases, while the Emergency Appeals Committee will hear and determine appeals. Decisions from the Appeals Committee will be final.

The SLFA expressed confidence in the competence and integrity of the appointed members and said it looks forward to their contribution toward ensuring a transparent, fair, and successful FA Cup competition.
