The European Union Delegation to Sierra Leone has on Friday, May 15, 2026, announced a new traineeship opportunity for young graduates interested in international relations and diplomatic affairs.
According to the announcement released by the EU Delegation in Sierra Leone, the opportunity is aimed at graduates who are eager to learn more about the work of a diplomatic mission and how the European Union represents its interests and values in the country.
The trainee will work within the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation, providing successful applicants with exposure to the operations of the European Union’s diplomatic engagement in Sierra Leone.
In its announcement, the EU Delegation encouraged young graduates with an interest in international relations to apply for the position before the closing date of 25 May 2026.
The Delegation stated that the programme is intended to give participants practical experience and a deeper understanding of the European Union’s diplomatic and communication activities in Sierra Leone.
