Admire Bio has paid an emotional tribute to her late mother, Mrs Ekundayo Esther Drucilla Bio, during a candlelight procession held in her honour.
Speaking at the event, Admire Bio stated that if she had her way, she would celebrate her mother, stressing that everything she has become today is because of her. She noted that one of the core values instilled in her by her mother was the importance of kindness and being prayerful.
She further expressed gratitude to God for granting her mother 75 years of life, describing it as a blessing.
Admire Bio also extended appreciation to those who attended the procession despite the rain, including the Methodist Girls’ High School band. She disclosed that she attended the school, which she described as the best girls’ school, and revealed that she was once a member of the band.
She concluded by thanking well-wishers for their support during her time of mourning.
Amid an ongoing alleged drug-related case, Admire Bio lost her mother while on trial for an alleged fraud, adding a tragic turn to the already tense situation surrounding the case. She is currently on bail and is expected to attend a court hearing, but was absent due to her mother’s passing.
