Bo Rangers Football Club have announced the departure of head coach Alhaji Foray following his appointment as Assistant Coach I of the Leone Stars, Sierra Leone’s senior national team.

The Board of Directors and Management of Bo Rangers confirmed they have accepted Foray’s resignation with appreciation, recognising his national team appointment as a testament to his professionalism and coaching abilities.

Foray, who holds a CAF A Licence, guided Bo Rangers to the 2025/2026 Leone Rock Premier League championship, securing the club’s fourth league title in the last five seasons. The triumph marked the first time a club from outside the capital, Freetown, has won Sierra Leone’s top-flight title four times.

The coach, aged 55, previously served as Bo Rangers manager during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons before returning in December 2025 to lead the club to another league crown. Under his leadership, the Elephants displayed remarkable consistency, tactical discipline, and squad management throughout the campaign.

Foray was appointed to the Leone Stars coaching role in May 2026, joining caretaker head coach John Edward Keister and Assistant Coach II Mohamed Lamin Kamara. The coaching team was tasked with preparing the national side for international friendly matches against Liberia.

Bo Rangers’ management expressed deep gratitude to Foray for his service, noting that his contributions have left a lasting impact on the players, staff, supporters, and the entire club family. As reigning champions, Bo Rangers will represent Sierra Leone in the 2026/27 CAF Champions League.
