Miss World Sierra Leone 2026, Mariyam Lorba Konneh, is representing Sierra Leone’s cultural heritage and artistic identity on the global stage as the Miss World competition continues.

Konneh recently competed in the Miss World Top Model and World Designer categories, where she showcased an outfit designed to pay tribute to Sierra Leone’s history, culture and national identity.

Speaking about her presentation, Konneh expressed pride in using her platform to promote Sierra Leone internationally, while highlighting the pageant’s “Beauty with a Purpose” philosophy.

“Proudly representing Sierra Leone, with dignity and beauty with a purpose, at every single chance I get,” Konneh said. “The dress is a striking combination of Sierra Leonean culture and heritage. It brings together Sierra Leone’s rich history, artistry and national identity in one powerful design.”

Beyond showcasing Sierra Leonean fashion and culture, Konneh also appealed to Sierra Leoneans to continue supporting her as the international competition progresses.

“Voting is on, and we are still in the competition,” she urged. “Thank you, Sierra Leone, for the support.”

Konneh’s latest cultural presentation adds to her activities at the Miss World competition, where she is using fashion and advocacy to highlight Sierra Leone’s heritage and share the country’s story with an international audience.
