Sierra Leone Immigration Department Unveils Four Regional Headquarters
Salamatu Y. Kamara The Sierra Leone Immigration Department (SLID) has announced the establishment of four Regional Headquarters Offices across the country as part of its continued efforts to decentralise immigration services and widen public access to essential services.
In a Public Notice dated 5th October, 2026, SLID informed the public that citizens can now access immigration services closer to them without having to travel to Freetown.
According to the notice, members of the public are encouraged to visit the Regional Headquarters Office nearest to them for enquiries, applications and other immigration-related matters.
The four new Regional Headquarters Offices are:
