The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Internal Affairs has just announced the lift of the suspension of Timber Logging And Transporting across the country.
This announcement was made via a Press Release issued out today, the 2nd November, 2022 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs wishes to inform the public that the temporary suspension has been lifted on Timber Logging And Transporting effective 1st November, 2022” a part of the release reads.
The Government of Sierra Leone had announced the annual suspension of timber logging and transportation of logs on the 31st May 2022 due to the rainy season.

The suspension started from the 10th June and ended on the 31st October 2022.
