Popular Sierra Leonean Model Hawa Turay has recently been hosted as guest by the Voice of America in Washington D.C
The renowned model is popularly dubbed as Hawawa, was interviewed by the US-based Sierra Leonean Broadcast Journalist, David Vandy.
Hawawa who grew up listening to David Buakey Vandy and hearing about the Voice of Africa posted on her facebook page that “it feels like a dream being here today to discuss my life after the Miss Universe pageant , entrepreneurial Journey, family and of course, Hawawa Model Management & Image Consultancy.”
Speaking on her vision for young models in Sierra Leone, she encapsulate that all she wants is for the world to see the untapped potentials of the country and she felt so blessed for the exposure.

in 2019, CEO Miss Hawa Turay was selected as one of the recipients of the 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women’s Award. She is an household name known for her relentless effort in promoting Sierra Leone through Fashion and Pageantry.
