Sorie Abubakar Dr Hassanatu Kanu was certified as the best-graduating student from the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) for the 2024 academic year.
Dr Kanu received several awards in anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, ob-gyn, surgery, medicine and dissertation —making her the overall best student for 2024.

“Everything is difficult before they become easy. It takes consistency, self-discipline and perseverance to achieve your dream,” she said.
She concluded by promising to serve the nation as a doctor whenever called upon.
