Popular Rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah “Boss La” has been spotted dinning with the Inspector General of Sierra Leone police, William Fayia Sellu few hours after release from the Pademba Road Prison.

Boss La left the prison custody on Monday morning after he and 351 other prisoners were granted a pardon by President Julius Maada Bio.

The RFM rapper was serving a nine-year jail term after being found guilty of assault and robbery by High Court Judge, Justice Adrian Fisher and was sentenced on the 17th of March 2023.

Since his detention, various entertainers, friends, and family members have fervently appealed to the government for his pardon and release. Until his release, the rapper had already spent over 1 year 6 months in prison for the alleged crime.

With the presumed intervention of Chief Minister Dr. David Sengeh the Minister of Communications and Civic Education Chernoh Bah, and several others, the President was convinced to pardon him.
