Sierra Leone’s folk singer Fanta Kamara popularly known as Fantacee Wiz has arrived in the United States of America to perform at the 8th edition of the Sierra Leone Association of Artists (SLAAM) and Musicians Lifetime Achievement Award 2023.

The event is scheduled for Friday 2nd June 2023 as this year’s event seeks to speak out about Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

SLAAM is a forum for the advocacy of Sierra Leonean music and artistic talent in the USA and will aggressively support the creative and economic viability of Sierra Leonean professionals in the entertainment field to not just succeed in Sierra Leone or within the Sierra Leonean Diaspora but to succeed in the mainstream USA music industry and ultimately experience a long deserved global recognition.

SLAAM is also a professional trade organization Registered as a nonprofit corporation with an extraordinary vision that seeks to empower Sierra Leonean musicians and artists in every way possible with the training, marketing, and execution needed to make their mark in the competitive USA music industry and gain the recognition they deserve as leading artists in the global entertainment industry.
