CHRDI Boss Abdul Fatoma Raises Alarm Over Administrative Injustice
The Executive Director of the Campaign for Human Rights and Development International (CHRDI), Abdul Fatoma, has warned that administrative injustice in Sierra Leone is damaging families, undermining public trust and threatening national peace and development.
In a statement, Fatoma said behind every act of administrative injustice lies a family that has suffered and a home that has been affected, stressing that the consequences extend beyond the individuals directly involved.
He described the situation as more than an injustice, calling it a wound on the nation’s soul that leaves citizens frustrated, breeds discontent and poses a threat to the country’s collective peace and development.
Fatoma also expressed concern that public discourse has moved away from issues that matter most to ordinary citizens, urging greater attention to the challenges affecting people’s daily lives.
“This is not someone else’s problem. This is our problem,” he stated, calling on citizens to recognise the seriousness of the issue and take collective action to address it.
His remarks, shared under the hashtag #AMF06, underscore the need to confront administrative injustice and prioritise the welfare, rights and dignity of citizens.
