FQE Book Theft: 1 Person Arrested With 3,426 Book

Sierra Leone Police has arrested one person caught in possession of three thousand, four hundred and twenty-six (3,426) exercise books of Free Quality School Education.
According to the information revealed by Detective Moosa during a press conference held on Tuesday 17th January 2023, at Police Headquarters, Freetown, the said exercise books were loaded in a vehicle with registration number AQM 013 with the intent to smuggle them out of Sierra Leone.

Detective Moosa disclosed that the vehicle was interrupted by the Kambia Police Division Operations team on Tuesday, 10th January 2023.
He further revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Abu Bakarr Kamara, was hired by one Mabinty Dumbuya who is currently on the run.

He however confirmed that the driver is in custody helping with the investigation.
