Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara popularly known as Jagaban, a member of Sierra Leone’s main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party has donated Le46m to 10 primary schools Kenema District.

The donation was done in Blama town, Small Bo Chiefdom which is also his native town. The donation was made as a means of helping the schools role out pressing activities deemed necessary to them.

David S Bendu, head of the council of head teachers in Blama, thanked and appreciated Jagaban for this kind gesture for which he maintained that will serve to help the schools in fulfilling most of their pressing activities. He assured him of utilising the money for its intended purpose by all the benefited schools.

The fund according to them will be used to support their sporting activities and other physical activities.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Jagaban for his continued effort in promoting sports and education in Blama.
