Police Investigate as Mother and Five-Year-Old Son Go Missing in Kono District

Concern continues to grow in Kono District following the disappearance of a mother and her five-year-old son, as police intensify investigations into the case.

According to reports, Jeneba Sesay, popularly known as “Jeneba Bullet,” and her son, Alia Sesay, went missing on Monday morning, 19th July 2026, from Old Yengema Road in Kono District. Their whereabouts remain unknown despite days of search efforts by family members, friends, and concerned residents.

Jeneba Sesay is believed to be between 45 and 50 years old, while her son, Alia, is approximately five years old. Family members have described their disappearance as highly unusual, noting that both mother and child have remained out of contact for an extended period without any communication.

Since they were reported missing, relatives and members of the community have undertaken extensive efforts to locate the pair, but no confirmed information has emerged regarding their whereabouts.
