The Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) at the Regional Police Headquarters South is conducting an investigation into Daniel Tucker, a well-known resident of Bo City, and Police Constable 22146 Thomas Bocon Fabundeh, stationed at Bo West Division’s Operation Support Division (OSD).

The arrest occurred at Moyamba Junction on Thursday, April 11, 2024, when Tucker, purportedly a Consumer Right Activist associated with the Health Advocacy Network, and Police Constable 22146 were apprehended with 198 wraps, 2 sachets, and a quantity of a substance suspected to be Kush.

The discovery was reportedly made in Tucker’s vehicle, leading to the detention of both individuals.

In response to the incident, AIG Kanneh, leading the charge at the Regional Police Headquarters South, affirmed the commitment of law enforcement to safeguarding the well-being of the southern region. He urged the public to cooperate by providing any information pertinent to the ongoing investigation.

AIG Kanneh emphasized the significance of the arrests, stating that they underscore the determination to combat Kush consumption and its alleged smuggling networks. He reiterated that under his leadership, there will be no sanctuary for individuals engaged in such illicit activities.

As investigations persist, both Daniel Tucker and his OSD counterpart remain in custody pending prosecution.
