The Directorate of Human Resource Management has announced immediate transfers involving senior police officers in a move affecting regional command, training, and operational units.

According to a formal transfer order referenced P.6/31 and dated 27 April 2026, the changes were approved and signed by Mr. Musa James (AIG), Director of Human Resource Management.

The transfer order directs the reassignment of three officers to new postings with immediate effect.

The reshuffle includes movements between the Regional Headquarters East (RHQ-East) and the Directorate of Training, as well as the redeployment of an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to the Harbour Division as Operations Officer.

The order was circulated to senior leadership and administrative offices, including the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Head of Financial Services, and the Police Headquarters database unit.

It was also copied to all directors, regional police commands, LUCS, heads of department, PSO, registry, and personnel file units for implementation.

The latest personnel changes are expected to require immediate handovers and administrative updates across the affected units as the force continues efforts to strengthen command and operational efficiency.
