Hon S.K Momodu Boosts Farmers in Kono District with Le 9000 Financial Support
Advancing the “Operation Feed Salone” initiative spearheaded by His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, Honourable S.K Momodu, Member of Parliament, has generously provided financial support to four farmers groups in Upper Sandor Chiefdom, Kono District.
During a heartfelt presentation ceremony, Honourable SK Momodu handed over cheques amounting to Le 9,000 each to the heads and executive members of the beneficiary farmers groups. The event, attended by councilors and farmer groups from Constituency 026 and 027, showcased the commitment of both the lawmaker and the local community to agricultural development.
Expressing his excitement, Honourable SK Momodu conveyed gratitude to the people of Upper Sandor Chiefdom for their dedication to agricultural progress. He emphasized the significance of supporting local farmers, commending their initiative in contributing to the broader goals of “Operation Feed Salone.”
The financial boost was allocated to the following farmers groups:
- Kuedondonya Farmers Group
- Modia Farmers Group
- Mortatay Farmers Group
- Kono Benda Farmers Group
Honourable SK Momodu extended his assurance of continued support and encouraged the group heads to utilize the funds wisely for the benefit of their respective communities. He urged them to return to their villages and channel the funds into projects that align with the objectives of “Operation Feed Salone.”
