Ramadan 2023: Timberland Donates to Savage Square Community
Aaron Parker Ex-Housemate Salone contestant, Alusine Kamara popularly known as “Timberland of Jenkin Street” on Wednesday, 5 April 2023 donated 26 bags of rice to the people of Savage Square in the Fourah Bay community.
Timberland who comes from an Islamic family said these efforts were part of his upbringing as the fulfillment of another pillar of Islam, an aspect of Zakat.
His 26 bags of rice, which totaled just over 8.5 million, were randomly distributed to men and women known to be members of that community.
The reality TV star who has now recovered was earlier this year reported to have been battling with an undisclosed sickness after he returned to Sierra Leone from Turkey.
