University of Sierra Leone Announces 2026 Graduation Dates and Fees
Aaron Parker The University of Sierra Leone has announced the dates and applicable congregation fees for its 2026 graduation ceremonies, with graduands expected to complete payment by 13 November 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by Registrar Munda J.S. Lebbie on 14 August 2026, the graduation ceremonies will be held over three days in November.
Postgraduate graduands will pay fees according to their respective academic levels. PhD graduands are required to pay Le6,500, while MPhil graduands will pay Le4,500. Those graduating with MA, MEd. or MSc. qualifications will pay Le4,000.
For undergraduates, graduands receiving degrees will pay Le3,500, while those graduating with diplomas or certificates will pay Le2,500.
The first day of the ceremonies is scheduled for Wednesday, 24 November 2026, and will be dedicated to postgraduates and the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS).
The second ceremony will take place on Thursday, 25 November 2026, for graduands from Fourah Bay College (FBC), followed by the final ceremony on Friday, 26 November 2026, for graduands from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM).
The university has directed all graduands to make their payments on or before 13 November 2026.
Payments can be made through any of three designated banks: Rokel Commercial Bank, using the University of Sierra Leone account number 016191831; Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, using account number 003001913146250108; or Access Bank Sierra Leone Limited, using the account designated as College of Medicine Allied Health Sciences (M) Ltd., Fees Account, account number 0020100000678.
