Young Lady Dies in Speedboat Capsize Off Lungi Coast, Corpse Missing
A somber cloud has fallen over communities near Lungi following the tragic death of Ramatu Bangura earlier today. The incident occurred as Ms. Bangura was traveling from Lungi when the speedboat she was aboard reportedly capsized.
According to information shared by the Tombo Media Engagement Blog, the unfortunate accident resulted in Ms. Bangura being the sole fatality. Despite the efforts of those involved, she was the only passenger who did not survive the incident.
As of late this afternoon, the remains of Ramatu Bangura have yet to be recovered. This has prompted an urgent appeal to residents in Lungi, Tagrin, Ferry, and surrounding areas. Anyone who may come across her remains is being asked to immediately contact the following number: 079995656.
This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers associated with unregulated water transportation in the region. Several advisory warnings had been issued against the use of “unregulated or privately operated boats such as wooden pirogues and canoes, which do not have lights or safety equipment.”

OMG. This is very sad. I’m just imagining her last moment when she realized that she’s going to drown and die. That’s the moment when you’ll think about everything and everyone in your life at once. I know this because I nearly drown few years ago.
I pray she ask for God’s forgiveness before she finally drown and give up the soul. 😢😢
