President Bio Arrives in France Ahead of 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference
Sahid Bangura The President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has just arrived in Nice City, France this evening to participate in the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3).
The event aims to advance Sustainable Development Goal 14, which emphasizes the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources.
In his statement upon arrival, President Bio expressed enthusiasm for the conference, highlighting its importance in addressing global marine challenges.
He stated, “This conference plays a crucial role in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 14, which focuses on the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development.”
The President is expected to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative efforts with other world leaders and stakeholders to protect vital marine ecosystems.
