The President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has just arrived in Nice City, France this evening to participate in the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3).
The event aims to advance Sustainable Development Goal 14, which emphasizes the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources.
In his statement upon arrival, President Bio expressed enthusiasm for the conference, highlighting its importance in addressing global marine challenges.
He stated, “This conference plays a crucial role in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 14, which focuses on the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development.”
The President is expected to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative efforts with other world leaders and stakeholders to protect vital marine ecosystems.

I have families in Sierra Leone, not because I am living outside. I felt every disruptions that happened in Sierra Leone, whether APC or SLPP that do. But common ground of plain level of this two parties is very important in a nation like Sierra Leone. Some of us living outside, we loved our Sierra Leone very much. So it not, I don’t sorry for the ordinary Sierra Leoneans. Have you ever thought of 27 years ruling government officials in Sierra Leone? Think about it. We should forgive and help. Put your ideas on the table. Ok. I love you my brother. God bless Sierra Leone.
