As part of the Free and Quality Education flagship Program, the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio has today officially opened a brand new school structures for the people Gerihum town Baoma Chiefdom, Bo District, Southern Sierra Leone.

This is part of the ongoing Construction, Rehabilitation and upgrading of 100 targeted Junior Secondary Schools in rural Communities across the Country, the structure contains a library, computer lab, furnitures, laboratory, solar powered, toilet and a pump.

The National Islamic Junior Secondary School has gotten a first class environment.

In commissioning of one of the 100 schools today in Gerihun Bo District, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has reechoed
President Bio’s commitment to ensuring every region of Sierra Leone benefits from development opportunities available, consistent with the
United Nations Sustainable Development goals “Leave No-One-Behind” spirit.
