President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone has urged citizens of the country to continue showing love, compassion, and goodness as the holy month of Ramadan concludes.

In a message delivered to mark the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, President Bio extended heartfelt wishes to the Muslim Umma across Sierra Leone and the world.

He expressed hopes that Allah (SWT) would accept their good deeds, forgive their transgressions, and bless them with happiness while gracing their homes with peace.

Acknowledging the customs of Eid Al-Fitr, including the exchange of gifts and the giving of alms, President Bio called on all Sierra Leoneans to emulate the spirit of goodness, love, and altruism demonstrated by the Muslim community. He emphasized the importance of continuing to live in peace and harmony within communities.

On behalf of his government and the people of Sierra Leone, President Bio conveyed warm wishes for a happy Eid Al-Fitr to his Muslim brothers and sisters, concluding his message with the phrase “HAPPY EID AL-FITR MUBARAK!”
