The Clerk of Parliament has announced that His Excellency, President Brigadier (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has summoned a sitting of Parliament for Tuesday, 15th October 2024, at 10:00 AM.
This summons is in accordance with Section 86 (1) of the 1991 Constitution, and all Hon. Members of Parliament are required to be present and seated in the Chamber on the specified date.
In preparation for this parliamentary sitting, Members of Parliament are also requested to attend a pre-legislative meeting on the proposed “Child Rights Act.”
This meeting is scheduled for Monday, 14th October 2024, at 10:00 AM in Committee Room One.
