The Sierra Tropical Limited has provided about one thousand six hundred jobs, supporting Education and Health with lucrative salaries. This is one of the biggest factories in Sierra Leone, situated in Lugbu Chiefdom in the Southern region of (Bo) District. The company has started processing pineapple and other food stuffs.
During the inspection and Commissioning of the Sierra Tropical factory, President Julius Maada encouraged community stakeholders to fully cooperate with the management of the Sierra Tropical Limited, and be able to resolve emerging conflicts.
