The Chief Electoral Commissioner of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL), Mohamed Konneh has announced that voting will continue after 5pm local time.

“Voting is scheduled to end at 5pm.

“However all those in queue who are yet to cast their ballots will be allowed to cast their ballots even if it is after 5pm,” Konneh said.

There were concerns over electricity at polling centres but the Commissioner said polling centres are provided with solar lamps to work at night.
