The Court of Appeal has announced that it will hear the appeal case of Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray versus the State on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10:00 am.
The proceedings will take place at the Law Courts Building in Freetown.
The notice of the hearing has been officially served to both the State and the legal representatives of the accused, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray, ahead of the scheduled date.
Mansaray, a prominent political figure and leader of the opposition Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), was convicted in 2021 on charges of sexual penetration of a minor. The case attracted significant media attention, partly because of Mansaray’s status as a public figure. He was sentenced to a lengthy prison term following the conviction.
Mansaray’s legal team filed an appeal, arguing for the overturning of the conviction. This upcoming hearing marks an important stage in the case, as the Court of Appeal will review the facts and arguments presented by both sides.

This is not what we are looking to as a nation.
Fix the economy
Fix our education
Try to incorporate section of our constitution as a human rights law rather than a policy.
These are the current issues we want to see addressed.
This is not what we are looking to as a nation.

Try to incorporate chapter two (2) of our constitution as a human rights law rather than a policy.
These are the current issues we want to see addressed.
Mohamed Kamaraimba Mansaray is not a Saint but he always talk like one.
Before he talks, he should clean his dirty linings first. He has so many soiled linings and old bones in his cupboard. Before he thinks of falsifying stories about people, let him come first and clear his already tainted reputation.
A go can , no worries
I don’t think if Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray will return in Sierra Leone again.
