The Chief Electoral Commissioner and Chairman of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL), Mr Edmond Sylvester Alpha, has paid a courtesy visit to the ECOWAS Resident Representative in Sierra Leone, H.E. Ambassador John Azumah.
Mr Alpha, accompanied by members of his team, held discussions with Ambassador Azumah aimed at strengthening relations between ECOWAS Member States and the ECSL.
The engagement focused on enhancing collaboration in promoting credible, transparent, and inclusive electoral processes in Sierra Leone. Both parties emphasised the importance of sustained partnership in supporting democratic governance and strengthening public confidence in the country’s electoral system.
