ECSL Extends Verification Exercise For Ad-hoc Polling Staff

In a bid to FAST-TRACK the payment of polling staff across the country, ECSL in collaboration with UNDP have extended the period for the joint verification of polling staff in all 16 districts in Sierra Leone by five more days.

This was communicated in a public notice issued on Monday, 28^th August, 2023. According to the notice, the exercise is extended to complete the verification of all polling staff who worked during the 24th June 2023 polls.

The verification exercise is to observe a break on Sunday 27th August 2023 and is to resume on Monday 28 August 2023 and end on Friday 1″ September 2023.

Polling staff who have not yet been verified are encouraged by the Commission to visit its District Offices for the extended verification exercise: Between Monday 28th August to Friday 1″ September 2023 starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. daily.

The Commission noted that they will continue to receive incoming phone calls until Friday 8th September 2023. However, the 1″ of September 2023 will be official cut-off day for the physical verification. (bullfrogspas.com)

Verification without money is just a way to keep those workers quite. Honestly, Konneh who lacks principles, morales and ethics has no money to to pay the Election officers. Konneh should be ready to appear in court after the change of leadership in this country. Konneh has abused his position and his office by using his position and office to to declare some body winner who did not win the elections. This is unethical. Konneh also disrespected the Sierra Leone constitution by refusing to present the DATA to verify and support the announcement he made. Konneh should be held responsible for any problem Sierra Leone faces because of his refusal to publish the results according to polling stations and polling centers with the RRF Forms as requested by National and International community people. Konneh is a prime factors for the current sufferings of the people of Sierra Leone for his personal benefits.. Konneh has committed a Treasonable offence. The Almighty Allah/ God will not allow Konneh to go free for such a crime. Konneh's boss is now in "hot water"....."Unnatural deeds do breed unnatural troubles"
