US Embassy to Hold Sealed Bid Auction For Various Items
Aaron Parker The United States Embassy in Freetown has announced that a sealed bid auction will take place at their compound on Tuesday, 9 May 2023, from 10:00 am to 15:00 pm.
All items will be auctioned on an “as is, where is” basis, with no warranties.
The items on auction will include vehicles, generators, appliances, household furniture, office equipment, vehicle spare parts, scrap, and IT equipment.
The Embassy has also stated that there will be a non-refundable entrance fee of NLE30 and a refundable security deposit of NLE500 for all bidders.
Bidders must present government-issued identification cards or passports for entry.
Winners will be notified of their successful bids via phone on the following day.
