First Lady Fatima Bio Donates to Injured Security Personnel at 34 Military Hospital
In a demonstration of her unwavering support for the military, First Lady Fatima Maada Bio has provided food and financial assistance to security forces and military personnel who sustained injuries during the recent failed coup attempt.
Her Excellency visited the 34 Military Hospital in Freetown on Thursday, November 30, 2023, to personally deliver aid and express her gratitude to the brave men and women who risked their lives to protect Sierra Leone’s democracy.
“I am deeply moved by the courage and resilience of our military personnel,” said First Lady Bio. “Their bravery in the face of adversity is an inspiration to us all.”
The First Lady’s visit was met with warm appreciation from the injured soldiers and their families. They expressed their gratitude for her compassion and support during this difficult time.
