The First Lady of Sierra Leone Fatima Bio has called on Muslims to remember the less fortunate during this month of Ramadan.
The First Lady made this request in a Twitter post as Muslims across the world are observing the month of Ramadan (Fasting).
Ramadan is also known as a month of charity to the needy and among Muslims.
As a Muslim, First Lady Fatima Bio stated that Ramadan is a sacred journey, and Muslim should remember the needy and strive to embody the values of mercy and kindness.
She calls on all Muslims to strengthen their bonds with families, and friends, and seek forgiveness and reconciliation where necessary.
“As we embark on this sacred journey, let us remember those who are less fortunate and strive to embody the values of mercy and kindness that are at the heart of our faith. Let us strengthen our bonds with family/friends, and to seek forgiveness and reconciliation where needed”.
