The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone has issued a Note verbal dated 5th July, presenting its complements to All Diplomatic and Consular Missions in Freetown.

The Note Verbal came after the June 23, Multitier-Elections Sierra Leone, which President Bio secured a re-election.

The Note Verbal Reads  “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone Presents its complements to all Diplomatic and Consular Mission in Freetown and has the honour to refer to the recently concluded Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Government elections held in Sierra Leone on 24th June 2023 conducted in a free, fair, credible and transparent atmosphere in which His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio was re-elected and consequently sworn-in as President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. In this regard, the Ministry wishes to request All Diplomatic and Consular Missions to kindly transmit this information to their respective Capitals accordingly.
