Former Sierra Leone’s Deputy Ambassador to the Republic of China, Mrs. Kumba Alice Momoh, has died.

Family members confirm that she passed away this morning at her home in Sussex. Momoh was part of the Ernest Bai Koroma led administration and a member of the All People’s party (APC)

Reacting to her death, Koroma wrote; “We are saddened by the sudden passing of Ambassador Kumba Momoh, former Deputy Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

“Mrs Momoh was a dedicated member of the diplomatic team during the Presidency of former President Ernest Bai Koroma who gave her time and energy to making our nation proud. She will be remembered for her outstanding representation to our friends in China and her selfless service to the country.

“May her soul Rest in Peace, and may her hard work for Sierra Leone shine her path to heaven. Our profound condolences to her entire family.”
