Sierra Leone Government Extends Curfew Until Further Notice
Julius Mustapha Harding The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has reaffirmed the continuation of the existing curfew, asserting that it will persist from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am until further notice. The decision reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to Citizens safety and the mitigation of potential risks after the attempted failed Coup d’e’tat.

It is good that the ministry brings out statement on this because many anticipated that the speech of the president will bring a relief on the extension of the curfew at least 12am. However, as intimated due to security concerns , we are pleading for it to be extended rather than removing it so that the issue at hand can be handled well.
