High Court Urgent Matters to Proceed as Scheduled on May 13th
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Master and Registrar of the High Court of Sierra Leone has informed the general public that all urgent matters due for hearing on Monday 13th May 2024 must proceed in the usual manner.
In particular, if any criminal case has been adjourned to Monday 13th May 2024 and there are Bail issues involved the Chief Justice has instructed that the Judge or Magistrate concerned must arrange for a Bail hearing to proceed.
According to the Registrar, January Criminal Session of the High Court will continue until Friday 17th May 2024. The May Criminal sessions will commence as usual on the third Monday in May that is 20th May 2024.
