Information Minister Confirms Payments to Individuals Assisting Police in Apprehending Runaway Fugitives
Mohamed Aruna The Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah has confirmed the payment to all individuals who have helped the police in capturing the run-away fugitives in relation to the November 26th failed attempted coup in the country.
He informed the public that, the 12 fugitives on the list are the major ones while stating that the others are also wanted by the police. He called on citizens to assist the police as the bounty has been increased by the police from Nle50,000 to Nle70,000.
He further thanked all Sierra Leoneans immensely for following the Weekly Government Press Briefing as well as maintaining the laws and the peace of the nation. He encouraged citizens to follow the official social media platforms of the Ministry for cogent and factual information.
