The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has commenced rehabilitation on the road leading to the Robis village Northern Sierra Leone.

The road leading to Robis village was no different from other internal roads in the chiefdom.

Just like other roads, in the rainy season the roads are terrible and fill up with mud and get dry into dust during the dry season.

In the previous years, the people of Robis village had made several appeals to authorities concerned for the rehabilitation of their road as the road leads to fishing communities and is highly useful daily

Mohamed Kanu, a resident of the Robis village thanked the Vice President for coming to their aid.
He said this will make movement easy for people using the road, especially women who come to buy fish from the fishing communities around the Robins area.

He further explained how this will ease the fear of parents whose children are attending schools that are located in Robi’s community.

He said he is only hoping that those working on the road project will try to pour coal tar on the road because the longer those gravel stones take on the road the higher the possibility of them being washed or carried away.

Mohamed Kanu concluded by appealing to other authorities concerned to replicate this example in their communities.
