Professor Lawrence Kamara Appointed Acting Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Sierra Leone

This decision, conveyed through an official letter from the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education dated 11th December 2023, marks a significant change in leadership at the institution.
Professor Lawrence Kamara steps into this role following the tenure of Professor Foday Sahr, who has been appointed as the Executive Director of the newly established National Public Health Agency.
