The Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs, Dr. Isata Mahoi, today, Monday, 26th May 2025 engaged pupils of Annie Walsh Memorial Secondary School. The minister discussed key issues affecting young girls.
In her inspiring session to the young girls, Dr. Mahoi urged the them to shun examination malpractice, build their self-esteem, uphold integrity. She further encouraged them to remain determined in the pursuit of their goals.
She called on them to envision themselves as future leaders and to start cultivating the values and mindset needed for effective female leadership.
According to her, young peple are the future of Sierra Leone and must be guided and prepare to take the mantle of leadership.
“Young people are the hope and future of our nation. We must walk with them, guide them, and prepare them to lead.”
