The Njala University Administration has announced the dates for its 2026 Congregation Ceremonies for the conferment of degrees and the awarding of diplomas and certificates.
According to a public notice issued by the university, undergraduate, diploma and certificate graduands will participate in the congregation ceremony on Friday, 6 November 2026, while postgraduate graduands will have their ceremony on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
Both ceremonies will be held at the Forecourt of the Campus Administrative Building at the Njala Campus.
The university said all graduands are required to pay a non-refundable congregation fee at the designated banks.
The notice further stated that only fully paid-up students will have their names included in the official graduation booklet and will be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
The deadline for payment is Friday, 23 October 2026.
The administration has therefore urged all members of the graduating class of 2026 to settle their financial obligations before the deadline to avoid being excluded from the congregation proceedings.
For further clarification, graduands have been advised to contact their respective Campus Registries.
This is commending and we highly appreciate Njala University so far for the graduation 🎓🎓 preparation at hand.
However, we would request the university finance office to release the list of fully paid up students of the University’s Fees in keeping the students inform of their financial status to enact on it immediately effectively as the university waits for no time preparing the souvenir.
