The Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority (NRA), Jeneba Bangura, has concluded her participation in the 7th ATAF Heads of Tax Administrations Master Class, held in Banjul, the Gambia.
The high-level executive programme brought together Commissioners General and Heads of Tax Administrations from revenue institutions across the African continent.
Organised by the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) in collaboration with the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), this year’s edition was convened under the theme, “Leading for Greatness: Shaping High-Performance Tax Administrations.” The forum served as a strategic platform for executive leadership development, fostering peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, and deliberating on actionable frameworks to build resilient, future-ready tax institutions.
According to the National Revenue Authority, the Minister’s active engagement at the Master Class underscores the NRA’s unwavering dedication to institutional excellence, regional integration, and the adoption of cutting-edge practices.
Additionally, ATAF is supporting the NRA’s ongoing efforts to bolster domestic revenue mobilisation, modernise administrative processes, and enhance taxpayer services in Sierra Leone.
As part of the event, Minister Bangura and other Commissioner Generals met with the Gambian President, His Excellency President Adama Barrow, in a bid to enhance political support for regional integration in tax administration.
