Freetown, this 11th day of December 2022. Time zone update: 19:15 GMT, Dr Samura Kamara, the likely Presidential Candidate of the APC, was in attendance at the inauguration of the new Chief Imam of the Al-Amin Central Mosque (Limba Mosque) on Sander Street in Freetown alongside Opposition Leader Hon. Chernor Maju Bah, Deputy Chairman Hon. Minkailu Mansaray, and Former Minister of Agriculture Hon. Dr Sam Sesay.

A number of people spoke, including the Honourable Chernor Maju Bah, who addressed the Muslim congregation. Throughout his speech he added, “the management must perceive and
use unity as a vehicle to build the basis of the Mosque, adding that it was joint efforts that led
to the growth and development of the Mosque… and that we shall continue to do.”

The event’s high point came when Dr Samura Kamara’s qualities as a leader—compassion,
humility, and outstanding acts for religious tolerance—were set alongside those of other
great leaders of our time. When Dr Samura Kamara walked into the masjid grounds, the
congregation greeted him with passionate and exuberant chants of “Allahu Akbar”! Allahu
Akbar”!, clearly a symbol of legitimacy and approval of his leadership.

His friendly demeanour and firm handshakes inspire confidence and promote integrity in a
world where these qualities are often in short supply. People in Sierra Leone are given reason
to have faith thanks to Dr Samura Kamara’s engagement with the public and other
community groups.

Our people need HOPE and EXPERIENCE right now. Similarly, Dr Samura M. W. Kamara is
Ready2Lead.
