Thieves have broken into the King Fahad Islamic Junior Secondary School in Bailor, Port Loko district and carted away valuable building materials.

This report is according to the National Authorizing Office, which is constructing and/rehabilitating 100 junior secondary schools across the country.

The thieves took away a solar panel inverter, charge controller among other materials.

The National Authorizing Office has called on school authorities and communities to take responsibility for security of development in their localities, including school materials, as government strives to bring improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
